Init Blog
Welcome to Code Yurt! I am so happy that you made it to my first blog post. Code Yurt is a blog about software development. Here, I will share my learnings and productivity tips on how to develop better software.
I will be writing about a variety of different topics covering full-stack web development. Front-end frameworks, backend setups, CI/CD pipelines and even going production. You can find all of them here.
Even though the website is presented like a blog, I will be making an extra effort to organize the information here to present guide-like content. My blog posts will contain learnings and discussions through my journey but the results of these learnings will also be documented in the guides section. Those who just want to get the code can easily jump to guides and use the content.
I encourage everyone to reuse my guide content to use in their projects. It will give me joy and happiness to see my work being helpful to others. After all, I am writing this blog to keep myself up to date and share knowledge with others.
Little bit about me
My name is Pamir, I am a software engineer out of British Columbia, Canada. Since I started my computer science education, I wanted to be a self-reliant developer. Someone who can take a concept and carry it through ideation to production. It took me many years to build solid knowledge in full-stack web development and I am currently studying the dev-ops side of things.
What I’ve accomplised
-
Successful Career: So far I had a good career with multiple different roles. Starting from full-stack developer to specialized backend roles.
-
Making Applications: From the beginning of my developer journey I have been focused on being self-reliant to make my applications.
-
Making This Blog: So far, I have kept my knowledge hidden in company documentation. This is going to be my first stab at sharing my knowledge with others. As of now, it might not look like an accomplishment, but I am certain that in months to come it will take a different look.
What’s next
I am iteratively approaching this blog. A couple of things that I mentioned here are not on the website yet, namely the guides section. Once I have enough blog posts about certain topics, I will create a guide section where readers can come back and reuse the content.
